Slipknot - {sic}nesses: Live at Download 13/06/2009
(Eagle Rock Entertainment - 2012)

Well what can I say, we had a marvellous Saturday night Headlining gig 3 years ago at the legendary Donnington Park above the likes of Marilyn Manson, Pendulum, Dragonforce and Down to name a few, which was streamed live for all to hear.

For those who weren’t there to witness the performance, the DVD brings out the best of the best in its true grit. The DVD is clear, the sound is spot on which sometimes takes away the atmosphere of the true gig with mega close ups of the band, fans and breasts, unlike the broadcast of the streamed show, which is the roughness around the edges.

From the beginning of '742617000027 (intro)' and '(sic)', Slipknot show why they have such a massive following as they ripped through 'Psychosocial'; 'Duality' and 'People=Sh*t', as the explosion, holocaust and nuclear assault fail to rest. The DVD also has a bonus film entitled ‘Audiable Visions Of (sic)nesses', plus the videos of 'Psychosocial','Dead Memories', 'Sulfur', 'Snuff' and the making of 'Snuff'. You can’t put in words the excitement of seeing these crazy guys in their true form with the now departed bass player Paul Gray (#2).

Slipknot Rule.
